I'm OK!

There are a few of you who have reached out to see if I'm safe from the scary fires that have been burning in the hills above my house. Thankfully I'm far enough that I won't be in any danger, but the smoke sure does bother me, and I can see flames from my street. The picture above was taken from the roof of my house and the one below from the street tonight. I feel so bad for all the animals in the forest. I know that this has to happen sometimes in nature but it doesn't seem fair, does it?

Ch-ch-changes

There have been lots of changes in my life lately. Before I talk about them, I needed to take a rest first.

Not to be outdone, Ripley takes a rest at his office, too...

I'll be on again soon to fill everyone in on the Big News in my life. There's quite a lot! In the meantime, I'll just close my eyes for a little bit longer...

Auntie Love

Auntie was here and I did everything I could to crawl into, under and on her bed. She even took this picture of me. She said something about seeing me next time in my new home, but I'm not sure what that means. I'll just sit here and look cute, instead.

Never Too Tired To Eat

Ripley just couldn't be bothered to get up for his food the other day. So when the food came to him it was the perfect solution.

Peanut Gallery

Today I went and picked up Izzy for a playdate. We couldn't wait to get home, so we started to play in the car. This is snapshot of us in the backseat together. We have so much fun, she is totally like my little sister. But pretty squirmy, too.

Troublemakers

Ripley's coming over tonight to hang out with me alone in the house! Lately we have been left out of our cages when we're alone and we've been really, really good. But today I seem to have some mischief in me. I wonder if we can get into trouble, or if we will just fall asleep as usual and forget about it.

Crunchy!

This is a Praying Mantis. It's been in my mouth. Well, not THIS one but one just like it. I got to go to the Palm Springs house for a little vacation and I almost got to snack on one of these guys. Unfortunately, it was taken from me, but not until I managed to chew a leg off. Everyone was a little disgusted, but I thought it was pretty funny.
