New Friend

This is Izzy:She's a few months old and one of my Day Care friends. She's named after someone I love, and is a Brussels Griffon. She's a puppy so I wasn't to keen on her at first, but I had a lecture on being nice to little kids and now we play together. Sometimes she gets really frisky when I come in and I have to tell her to go easy on me, but she's really cute and it's hard to be mad at her. Soon she's probably going to be bigger than me. I think she's coming to my house soon, we'll see how we play when she's here!

Too Cool For Pool

Yesterday I went to Ripley's new house and backyard. Not only did I find the one little hole left in the fence and get out, I also made a mad dash for the gate door when it opened up. I just like to explore, that's all. All that activity got me hot so Ripley and I took a dip in the pool. Actually we were lured in by force but once we found a shoulder to prop ourselves up in, we felt better. Here we are with our best serious faces.

You'd think that would be enough, but no, not for me! I decided that the best way to dry off after being in the pool was to roll around in a big dirt patch. I don't know why everyone was yelling and laughing, but I did smell pretty much like mud and had to be hosed off again.

It was a pretty crazy day.

Auntie's Pillow

I'm back to feeling normal again, which means that during the day I take my naptimes in Auntie's bed while she's gone. I like the way humans use pillows, so I thought I'd try it out myself. Pretty cozy, huh? It's something to do to pass the time since her underwear is on lockdown...

Blackmouth The Charcoal Pirate

Auntie is back in the house. Now I know she really loves me, because yesterday she saved a bite from her delicious frosted brownie for me. Actually, she had left it sitting on the dining room table (who leaves a piece of dessert?) and when nobody was home, I climbed up and gulped it right down!! This is a recreation of what it looked like:Wait...what? Dogs can't eat chocolate? What the... How come? Why am I now going to the 24 hour emergency vet clinic? I HATE this place! Why are they making me throw up? Eeuww- the doctor said that the brownie came up and nobody wants it now... There- that medication made me stop throwing up, and now they are making me eat CHARCOAL? I just got groomed and here's what it did to my mouth!!!

Oh well, it will come off. I hope pet insurance covers chocolate...

Best. Day. Ever.

Hey everyone,
You won't believe the day I've had.
First of all, I woke up and was told that I was going to see Buddy today. Little did I know that meant HE WAS COMING TO MY HOUSE!!!!
This was the first time he's been here and I didn't really even have time to get ready but I know he loves me no matter what I look or smell like. I was so happy to show him all my toys and hangouts around my pad.

Here I am showing him where the water dish is:A little later we went upstairs to the office and rolled around together. Even though he's bigger than me, he really is pretty gentle when he plays...
I still can't believe that he was actually here. I hope he comes back soon, apparently he was such a good boy that he is invited back anytime. YAY!

....now what's this I hear about AUNTIE coming to visit tomorrow???........

Ribbit

I know there's no reason why a 13 lb dog like me should be afraid of a tiny little wind up toy, but somehow it's just scary...
